Last Coffee Afternoons of 2018
At the end of September, I sat down with Abbey residents alongside the Police and the Council. Many issues were raised but crime and policing sat at the top of the agenda, so I have reinforced my calls to the Deputy Mayor for Policing and Crime for a step change to borough policing. At the beginning of November, I organised a coffee afternoon for Alibon residents. Sadly, I was unable to attend due to illness, so my brilliant team ran the event and ensured that concerns of residents were addressed. The Head of Parking at the Council addressed the introduction of controlled parking zones (CPZ). She informed residents that letters have been sent to them about a two year review on parking and CPZs, and advised residents to visit the Council website for more information.
